Hello, parents and teen Stingrays!  I hope you are enjoying the start of summer and this long weekend.

Our first meet is this Thursday at home against the Maple Ridge Manta Rays.  We want to do everything we can do to welcome them to our pool and show good sportsmanship. For that reason, I have started copying our 15 - 18 year old swimmers on our pre-meet emails.  These swimmers should be setting the example for our younger swimmers and helping to teach them the importance of shaking hands and encouraging other swimmers.  Parents, if you have a teen swimmer who needs to be added to the mail list, please let me know.

Back to our pre-meet instructions. There will be very limited parking in the pool lot.  We have several spots we need to reserve for our team and at least four we have to reserve for the visiting team.  If you get to the pool before all the parking signs are put up, please park toward the back of the lot.  Remember not to park on the side of Jackson Elementary.  Your cooperation is appreciated.  

The concession stand will have Chick-fil-a, Riverside pizza, and other snacks.

The job spreadsheet for this meet is attached.  Please make sure you review the tab labeled "Maple Ridge".  We have a number of families out this week so this meet will be all hands on deck.  If you are going to be at the meet and do not see your name on the job list, be assured that you will probably be drafted to work.  If you are scheduled to work and are not going to be available, please let Meg Lovejoy know ASAP.  You can email Meg at [email protected] or text her at 404-944-1180.  Please remember that it takes a lot of volunteers to run the meet and we appreciate you!
