UPCOMING EVENTS:

Please make sure you read and flag the email I just sent out about the upcoming events! I don't want anyone to miss any of the fun we have planned!

SECOND MEET NOTES:

1. MEET & COUNTY - We did win our second meet and had a lot of great swims! We are 2-0 headed into our third meet! Make sure you're keeping track of the county standings here: http://www.gwinnettswimleague.com/WeeklyMeetResult... This week's results aren't out yet, but they'll be up within the next few days.
2. MEET RESULTS - We've had a couple of mishaps happen the last two meets where kids swim in the wrong lane, the timers haven't written down a time for a swimmer that swam, wrongful DQ's, etc. I ask that you and your swimmers pay close attention to the meet results as they come out and make sure swimmers ask their times at the end of their races. As much as we try to make sure everything runs smoothly and correctly, things happen and in order for me to be able to figure out problems and fight for the kids, I need to know about any issues as soon as possible, and it helps so much if the swimmer asked for their time and we can work from there.  
3. SHAKING HANDS - I loved seeing all of our hand-shaking this meet! Let's keep it up! Love our Stingray spirit!
4. CLEANLINESS – We still had a lot of trash and items left in the teen areas after the last meet that parents had to stay after to clean up. Please remind your kids (as I do and will) to throw away their trash and pick up around them!

• MEET THIS WEEK VS RIVERSHYRE HOME MEET
  These are the people I have down as being out for this week's meet, and therefore will NOT be seeded:

  If your swimmer's name is listed above and should not be or if your swimmer will be absent at this week's meet and his/her name is not listed above, please email me by Monday, 6/11 at noon. The meet will be seeded and unchangeable after that deadline.

• FUN FRIDAY (This Friday, June 15) - Our Fun Friday theme this week will be Pajama Day! Wear your pajamas over your suit! (I will clarify the details with our Incredible outing once I have the final showtime!)

• THIS WEEK'S T.N.O. - This Thursday, our "Teen Night Out" is at Steak and Shake again on Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road and 120.
