Our practice meet is Thursday, May 23.  This meet (and this meet only) will start at 6:30.  For those of you new to the team, be prepared for organized chaos!.  This meet will not last as long as other meets because we will not swim all events.  The main purpose of this meet is to get seed times for all the swimmers.  We also use it to make sure all of our equipment is ready for the season and to make sure everyone knows how the meet flows and how important it is that we have all of our volunteers in place.  

We will be reserving parking spaces just like this is a regular season meet.  This means that parking in the parking lot will be very limited.  Please plan to park on the street and make sure you pay attention to the parking signs and only park on one side of the street.  Also, please make sure you are not blocking any driveways or fire hydrants.  If you park at Jackson, you run the risk of getting your car locked in when they close the gates.  

Please bring change and small bills for concessions, Sharpies to mark your swimmers' events on their arms/back, towels, goggles, and bug spray.  

I've attached the job assignments for Thursday night.  Everyone of these jobs is important to make sure the meet runs smoothly.  Please let Meg Lovejoy ([email protected]) know as soon as possible if you cannot do your assigned job.
