Meet results and info from 5/30 meet
What a great way to start the season! The Stingrays won tonight's meet with the Hidden Falls Rapids. There were a lot of great swims and a lot of swimmers who dropped times. More importantly, there were a whole bunch of Stingrays who were shaking hands and showing what great sports Stingrays are! Keep up the good work! Meet results are attached.
First of all, thanks to all of you who showed up to do your jobs this week. These swim meets wouldn't happen without you!
A huge thank you to the Cappucio family and to Robert Murdock for helping with the parking signs before the meet. Thanks to Juju Fleury, Peter Ziegler, Matthew Townsend, Perry Foster, Robert Murdock, Maryam Jordan, and the Gonzalez family for removing all the parking signs. Thanks to Joshua McDonald, Hunter McDonald, and Robert Murdock for helping with setting up the pool deck. I also want to thank Melanie Fleury, Robert Susanto, Jacob Watkins, Ryan Leo, and Antonio Acuna for helping put chairs back out. Thanks to Jennifer Leo for stepping in to time. None of these people were scheduled to work tonight but all stepped in to help out.
We are already running short on concessions. If you have not brought in your donations, please do so. Make sure you mark your name off the list on the back of the shed door. The needed items are listed on the team website, under handbook, donations. We already out of Gatorade, so if you aren't sure what to donate, please bring a case of Gatorade.
If you ordered spirit wear, it should be delivered at practice next week. If you didn't order but want to, or you want to order more, I've got good news! There will be a second order placed next week. Your order AND money must be given to Carrie King by Thursday, June 6. We will not be able to accept any late orders. I've attached an order form in case you need to order.
Our meet next week is an away meet at Daniel Park. Information and jobs for that meet will be sent out the first part of next week. I hope everyone has a great weekend and I'll see you next week.
