Hey Stingrays!

I sincerely hope that everyone is staying safe and healthy in this quarantine and that you’re enjoying and making the best of this time with family!

The GCSL Board just sent us an email with some tentative updates for the summer swim season that I wanted to share with you guys. 

• WE ARE REGISTERING AS NORMAL – REGISTRATION IS OPEN
  • We are still registering everyone as normal, GCSL wants teams to be ready to go quickly when and if we are able to ramp up, so go ahead and register your swimmer(s)!
  • Important note: If the season is cancelled, we will refund!
    
• WE ARE FOLLOWING CDC GUIDELINES AND RECOMMENDATIONS
  • As of right now, our first day that we’ll be able to get in the water is June 1^st
  • This is TENTATIVE and can and will change with the trajectory of the virus. 
  • Our season will follow the recommendations from the CDC as this progresses. The health of our athletes, families, and community takes priority and both I and our team will follow protocols to ensure the safety of everyone involved.
    
• MODIFIED SEASON
  • The GCSL Board will make a definitive decision about the season in Mid-May.
  • If we are able, the season will be modified in some ways to adapt to the late start, to be detailed at that date.
    

I am so excited for the season, however we get to have it, and am looking forward to seeing everyone safe and healthy once we make our way out of this! You’re all in my thoughts and prayers, and please remember if you need anything, reach out! We are a family here!
