There is A LOT of information in this email, and there will be even more coming in the next few weeks, so PLEASE make sure to read them all!

First day of Practice is Monday May 15^th. We have after school practices while school is in session and then will flip to morning practices as normal.

Our entire meet schedule is now posted on the website as well. We do not have a practice meet scheduled yet, but it typically it would be the first thursday (5/18). Stay tuned as we firm those details up.

If you need a swimsuit, please follow this link: https://reddiset.com/collections/steeple-station-stingrays . Since we are getting close to the start of season, there may be some styles /sizes that are not available. This is not run by us, so please direct all questions to the email/number on the website. It doesn't show the logo but the stingrays logo will be added to the front bottom as usual. The website spells out how to order it as well as how to get sized if you need to.

Spirit Wear: New spirit wear designed my Matthew Townsend (one of our swimmers) will be available in the next few days. I will send out a link to that as well.

There will be a MANDATORY parent meeting via Zoom. We will offer it twice, Sunday May 7 @7 and again Wednesday May 10^th at 730 pm. Please plan on joining one! Link will be sent ASAP.

As you know, we need everyone to volunteer in order to make the team run smoothly! One great way to volunteer and get the best view at the pool is to be a stroke and turn judge! The training is offered via Zoom, details below. This does need to be redone every 2 years, so if you didn't take it last year, please take it this year! The league has also decided to create and offer an ON DEMAND course! The documents to that training are attached to this email. Please take the training if you are interested at all in being a judge! And I promise you do not have to know a lot about swimming! The training tells you exactly what to look for!

Our newest swimmers: remember that in order to be able to safely participate, we do need you to be able to swim with minimal assistance across the pool. If you feel like your swimmer is almost there but may need some help, please consider some extra lessons before the season starts. We have some jr. coaches that have offered private lessons before and that will be available to assist. Reach out to me at [email protected] and I can coordinate that for you.
