Hey Stingrays!
Get excited, our first dual meet of the season is upon us! We are up against the Berkshire Barracudas. Here are a couple of things to know going into "Swim Meet Thursday". 

1. THURSDAY PRACTICE SCHEDULE - remember that on Thursday mornings we switch pools and the practice schedule is a little different because it's a meet day! Stay tuned to your email / Facebook / texting software (to join, text @gf732 to 81010), as yesterday morning Jefferson Station's pool had no chlorine and we had to do a quick shuffle!

2. TEAM PICTURE - Arrive by 4:40 PM to get ready for our team picture. We will be taking it right at 5:00 PM, so wear your team suit and please don't be late! Individual pictures will start around 3:45 PM tomorrow. 

3. MEET STARTS @ 6:00 PM - Your swimmer's events will be posted by name on posterboards hung around the pool. Bring a sharpie and write your swimmer's name and events on their shoulder / arm!

4. STAY FOR RELAYS - If you are on a relay, you are expected to stay and participate in those relays.  Please respect your team members and their time and don't leave early. Check with a coach before you leave to see if you are on a relay if you don't know! 

5. STINGRAY SPIRIT - Please welcome the Berkshire Barracudas to our facility and also take ownership of our pool! Make sure all trash is cleaned up and that we're being respectful of others and their spaces. We show good sportsmanship always and shake hands at the end of our races! 

6. FOOD / DRINK DONATIONS - Make sure you've brought in your drink donations for the team and put them in the shed at Steeple Chase. Also we will be collecting snack donations for Village of Hope by the concession stand!

7. FUN FRIDAY - Our Fun Friday theme this week is going to be "Crazy Sock Friday". Wear the craziest, most fun socks you can find! Friday morning, 9:00 - 11:00 AM.

8. THIS WEEK'S T.N.O. - This Thursday, our "Teen Night Out" is at Steak and Shake on Lawrenceville Suwanee near 120 for after the meet!
